하박국의 고백

“하박국의 고백”이란 찬양은 우리가 잘 아는 하박국 3장 말씀에 기초로 만든 찬양입니다. 거절두미하고 어떤 상황과 어려움에도 하박국의 시선은 하나님만 바라보고 있습니다. 시대마다 힘들었고 지금 이 시대 역시 그러하지만 우리의 고백은 비록 무화과나무가 무성치 못하며 포도나무에 열매가 없으며 감람나무에 소출과 밭에 식물이 없으며 우리에 양과 외양간에 소가 없을지라도 나는 여호와로 말미암아 즐거워하며 나의 구원의 하나님을 인하여 기뻐하리로라고 말한 하박국의 고백처럼 동일하게 선포해야됩니다.

많은 곳에서 금요기도회가 사라져가지만 아직도 부르짖는 많은 교회가 있습니다. 저 역시 금요기도회 때 기도하는 마음으로 만든 만큼 많은 교회에서 회복을 꿈꾸며 나의, 우리의 고백으로 하나님께 올려지기를 소망합니다.

마지막으로 예전의 삼일교회 P.O.P. 감독으로 섬겼던 김정애 간사님과 그때의 귀한 멤버들 송결, 한지연, 김경빈 형제, 자매가 함께해주셨습니다. 또 여러모로 편곡을 비롯해서 함께 해주신 김진오 감독님과 기타의 한신 형제님, 자켓의 박은지 권사님, 악보에 도움 주신 이용관 집사님께도 감사드립니다.

높은 곳에 계신 하나님께 영광! 할렐루야!

The song 'Habakkuk’s Confession' is inspired by the renowned words of Habakkuk Chapter 3. Habakkuk's unwavering focus remains on God, refusing to waver despite any situation or difficulty. Every generation faces its own challenges, and ours is no exception. Yet, our confession echoes Habakkuk's resolve: 'Though the fig trees do not bud and there is no fruit on the vines, though the olive trees produce no fruit and the fields yield no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord.' We must proclaim, as Habakkuk did, 'I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.'

While Friday prayer meetings may be dwindling in many places, there are still numerous churches fervently crying out. As I engage in prayer during these gatherings, I dream of revival in many churches and anticipate our collective confession lifting us up to God.

I extend my gratitude to the former Samil Church P.O.P. director, Kim Jungae, and to members Song Gyul, Han Jiyeon, and Kim Kyungbin, who were part of it at that time. I‘d also like to thank director Kim (JINOk), who helped me in many ways, including the arrangement, bro. Han Shin on guitar, Deacon Park Eunji for the jacket album, and Deacon Lee Yonggwan for assisting with the score.
